404 UXOs detected in Azerbaijan’s Aghstafa
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has detected unexploded ordnances (UXOs) in Salyan and Aghstafa districts.
ANAMA told that 2 UXOs (1 93-mm antitank mine (PQ-7VL) and 1 140-mm missile (M-14 OF)) were detected in Shirvan National Park in Salyan district.

The area nearby the water channel in Aghstafa district’s Saloghlu settlement was inspected and 404 UXOs were detected.

They include 4 100-mm artillery shells (BM-6), 1 73 mm OQ-9 missiles, engine of 1 PQ-7 missile, 1 122 mm artillery shell (A- 1), 3 40 mm (12x7 mm) grenades (VOQ-25), 3 signal missiles, 2 bullet shells (12x7 mm), 1 empty bullet shell (12x7 mm), 341 bullets (7x62 mm), 32 bullets (5x45 mm), 16 pistol bullets, 2 100 and 122 mm cannon shell (empty), 1 empty charger (5x45 mm), front part of PQ-7 missile engine (empty), 2 signal mines. The UXOs were removed from the area.
