Apple watches banned from UK Cabinet meetings over hacking concerns
Ministers in the United Kingdom have been barred from wearing Apple Watches to cabinet meetings amid concerns they could be hacked by Russians, local media reported.
A ban on cellphones is already in place for ministerial meetings, according to The Telegraph newspaper. A source told the paper the regulation was extended to Apple-made smart watches because "Russians are trying to hack everything."

The United States has blamed Russians for leaking sensitive emails from accounts of the Democratic National Committee, which prompted several resignations. Russian hackers have also been accused of posting online drug testing records of some Olympic athletes.
