President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is taking part in a session, which started Oct. 10 within the framework of the 23rd World Energy Congress in Istanbul, Turkey.
As many as 10,000 participants from 80 countries, including presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia, Venezuela, Turkey, energy ministers of Russia, Saudi Arabia, OPEC Secretary General Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo, European Commission Vice President for Energy Maros Sefcovic, are taking part in the meeting of the congress.
The 23rd World Energy Congress started its work Oct. 9 and will end Oct. 13.
