Vienna Strauss Festival Orchestra to perform in Baku

Vienna Strauss Festival Orchestra to perform in Baku

The Vienna Strauss Festival Orchestra will give a concert at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku on Dec. 1.

The concert will feature outstanding pieces by Johann Strauss, as well as other Viennese classic composers.

The Vienna Strauss Festival Orchestra was founded in 1978.

Recognized conductor and virtuoso violinist Peter Gut is the orchestra’s founder and artistic director.

The orchestra performed its first concert program in Baku in 2014.
