Iraq summoned Turkish Ambassador in Baghdad Faruk Kaymakci and delivered him a note of protest over the presence of Turkish troops in the Bashiqa region of Mosul, Iraq’s Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.
Earlier, Turkey’s Foreign Ministry summoned Iraq’s ambassador to Ankara and handed over him a note of protest.
