Azerbaijan to open honorary consulate in Australia
Azerbaijan’s Honorary Consulate will be opened in the Australian city of Perth – the biggest city and capital of the Western Australia, said the Azerbaijani parliament’s press service Oct. 13.
Azerbaijani embassy in Australia will hold an event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence in Western Australia.

Chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament’s International and Interparliamentary Relations Committee Samad Seyidov, Head of the Working Group on Interparliamentary Relations with Australia and New Zealand Khanlar Fatiyev and member of the working group Asim Mollazade will visit Australia on Oct. 15-24 to take part in the event and the opening of the Honorary Consulate.

Azerbaijani delegation will also have meetings with representative of the Australian government and parliament during the visit.
