The spokesperson said the crash happened because of a technical problem with the car, noting that Ukrainian law enforcement authorities have confirmed that he was not intoxicated.
“No one got injured in the accident. Except a car standing at the roadside was damaged. We recommend that some press agencies do not use unverified information circulating on social networks,” he said.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hikmet Hajiyev has commented on reports of a diplomat of the Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine having caused a crash in the country while intoxicated.
