Nuriyev stressed the need to improve the administrative-territorial division of the country and the division between local executive bodies and municipalities.
He noted that a strong infrastructure was established in Azerbaijan.
“It is important for further development of the economy. What’s important is that the transition period has already been completed,” he added.
Stressing the development of Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector in 2014-2015, the professor called the year 2016 was a turning point for the country’s economy.
The professor said it is necessary to pay attention to the development of the agro-industrial complexes in Azerbaijan. “From this perspective, Guba-Khachmaz and Lankaran-Astara zones have great potential.”
