Azerbaijan, Australia mull co-op expansion - PHOTOS
A meeting was held between the delegation led by Head of Azerbaijan-Australia Interparliamentary Friendship Group Khanlar Fatiyev and the delegation headed by speakers of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, Barry House and Michael Sutherland in the Australian city of Perth Oct. 18.
Chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament’s Committee on International and Interparliamentary Relations Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Party for Democratic Reforms Asim Mollazade, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Australia Rovshan Jamshidov, and Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan in Western Australia Aydan Rzayeva took part in the meeting from the Azerbaijani side.

Ministers of tourism, agriculture, food industry and other officials of Western Australia also participated in the meeting.

Expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Australia, establishment of mutual political and economic relations, settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and cooperation in humanitarian, tourism, agricultural and other spheres were discussed at the meeting.
