Ilham Aliyev lays flowers at statue of national leader
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid flowers at a statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city of Qazakh.
Head of Qazakh District Executive Authority Rajab Babashov informed President Aliyev about the work carried out around the statue and in the district.

Ilham Aliyev opens new building of museum in Qazakh
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inaugurated a new building of the Museum of History and Local Lore in Qazakh district October 19.
The president cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the museum.
The president was informed that the museum was established in 1984. The construction of the new building of the museum started in November 2015 and ended in October 2016.
The museum occupies a total area of 1,728 square meters. Some 2,450 exhibits reflecting the nature and history of the district are kept in the two-storey building of the museum.
There are photo stands depicting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s activities on the ground floor of the building.
The museum has offices, a conference hall, a library, a kitchen and a cafe.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of 110/35/6 KV “Das Salahlı” sub-station in Qazakh district.
The president was informed that the sub-station was built to improve electricity supply for the large part of Qazakh.
“Das Salahlı” is the fourth 110KV facility built in the western region of Azerbaijan and the 44th in the country. The previous sub-station supplied electricity to 3,637 consumers in 8 villages, while “Das Salahlı” will supply power to 19,364 consumers in 22 villages.
The sub-station will also supply electricity to farms, plants, hospitals, schools and other infrastructure facilities in Qazakh and Aghstafa districts.
The ceremony featured demonstration of a photo and video slide show highlighting the work conducted by Azerishig.
President Aliyev launched the sub-station.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of “Birinci Şıxlı Farm” LLC in Qazakh.
The head of state was informed that the farm occupies an area of 151 hectares. The administrative building of LLC is located here. There is a warehouse with the capacity of 2,000 tons in the farm. It also has a 250 square metre park for agricultural machinery and a 600 square metre production area.
The President was informed that at the initial stage products manufactured by the farm will be supplied to the local market. There is also an arable land which occupies an area of 15 hectares, and an artificial rain-making technology is used here. The farm will create 170 jobs.
President Ilham Aliyev met with staff of “Birinci Şıxlı Farm” LLC and local residents, and then posed for photographs with them.

Qazakh-Kosalar highway has opened after renovation, in presence of the country’s president, Ilham Aliyev.
Chairman of Azeravtoyol Saleh Mammadov informed the president that the highway connects two residential areas with the total population of 6,000 people. The 10 km-long two-lane highway is six meters in width. Forty-two traffic signs were installed, one bus station was built along the road.
President Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the highway.
