Some 100 policemen in Marseille protest against violent attack on law enforcers
According to reports, the protest was spontaneous and was not organized by a trade union.
On October 8, a violent clash between police officers and a group of 15 young people occurred in the southern suburbs of Paris, an officer received serious burns of body surface and was put in coma. On Tuesday, about 500 police officers staged a protest in Paris on the Champs-Elysees. The officers were protesting deteriorating work conditions and demonstrating support for their injured colleague. Police officers were driving their cars along the main Paris boulevard with their sirens turned on.
