Expansion of Andrzej Kasprzyk’s mission will be important step - Warlick
The April events in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone claimed many lives, but neither of the sides should accuse the other, US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick said on Tuesday at a press conference in Yerevan, AzVision.az reports citing the Armenian Media.
Warlick said we need to realize that the tragedy in April shows that the Karabakh peace talks are of great importance.

According to the US diplomat, the situation on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops is relatively calm after the April events, and this is an important foundation for the talks they wish to launch.

He added that they believe that the respect for the ceasefire will be maintained. He stated that he believes this is a result of the arrangement made between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Warlick expressed confidence that there will come a time when the expansion of the mission by Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office will become an important step in the right direction.
