Azerbaijani president extends condolences to Pakistani counterpart
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has extended condolences to his Pakistani counterpart Mamnoon Hussain over the latest terrorist attack in the city of Quetta.
“Dear Mr President, I was deeply saddened by the news of a large number of deaths and injuries from the terrorist attack on a police station in the city of Quetta. We’re outraged at this terrorist act and we think it is important and necessary to put up a joint, decisive, consistent fight against all manifestations of terror,” President Aliyev said in his letter of condolences.

“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my heartfelt condolences to You, to the families and close ones of those killed, and to the fraternal people of Pakistan, and wish the injured recover fast. May Allah have mercy on those killed!” said the Azerbaijani president.
