Indonesian court sentences terrorist, supporting Daesh to eight years
The court in the Indonesian capital Jakarta sentenced the terrorist, supporting Daesh terrorist organisation to eight years in prison for participating in conducting the January 14 Jakarta attack, media reports.
According to the Straits Times newspaper, Ali Makhmudin, 40-year-old member of a terrorist group in Central Java, was pleaded guilty for providing terrorists with steel pipes for homemade bombs.

Makhmudin was reported to be paid for the job and to be aware of the fact, that the pipes were intended for constructing bombs.

Indonesia has been on high security alert since the Jakarta attacks in January, when a series of coordinated explosions and gunfire occurred in the center of the city, near a United Nations information center. Four civilians and four attackers were killed and over 20 people were injured in the assault.
