`Pan-African Parliament is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan`
"The Pan-African Parliament which includes 54 African countries is keen to cooperate with Azerbaijan," said Vice-President of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) Safia Elmi Djibril as she met with Azerbaijan`s Permanent Representative to the African Union, Ambassador Elman Abdullayev.
The Vice-President hailed the huge potential for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the organization.

Giving detailed information about Azerbaijan, Elman Abdullayev described the country as a regional leader. He praised Azerbaijan`s leading role in implementing large-scale regional projects, saying Azerbaijan has hosted a number of major international events.

They also discussed prospects for the development of relations, and underlined the importance of expanding cooperation both on a bilateral basis and within international organizations.
