According to him, predicted oil reserves make up 2 billion tonnes, gas reserves – 3 trillion 450 billion cubic meters: “In other words, the extractable hydrocarbon reserves as of today exactly make up 4,550,000,000 tonnes in the oil equivalent, predicted reserves – 5,450,000,000 tonnes (in the oil equivalent). So, our hydrocarbon reserves are estimated at 10 billion tonnes as fuel”.

As of today, the extractable oil reserves in Azerbaijan exactly make up 2 billion tonnes, gas reserves – 2 trillion 550 billion cubic meters, Khoshbakht Yusifzade, the First Vice President of SOCAR said in his interview to Oil and Industry magazine.
