Delhi air pollution levels 42 times higher than limits on Diwali Holiday night
Delhi air was worsened significantly on the night of the Diwali holiday, local media reported.
Air quality worsened significantly in Delho, the capital of India, on the night of the Diwali holiday, local media reported.

​The levels of PM10 particles in the air rose 42 times higher than the national air quality standards on Sunday night as the smoke from Diwali fireworks clouded the city, The Hindustan Times reported on Monday.

​The levels of both PM10 and PM2.5 reportedly reached alarming rates during the celebration of the festival of light with air quality index reaching the maximum of 500.
