Total of 33 people killed by explosion in coal mine in China’s Chongqing region
A total of 33 people were killed by a gas explosion in a coal mine in the central Chinese region of Chongqing, local media reported on Wednesday.
Search and rescue works were ended as bodies of all people, who were in the mine at the moment of the blast have been found, the CCTV TV-channel reported. The incident occurred on Monday. Only two miners managed to leave the mine. On Tuesday, local media reported about 13 people killed and 20 more trapped in the mine.
