Fuzuli square to be made new avenue
In order to improve the road infrastructure of Baku, provide easy traffic for transport and population, necessary measures are being taken. These measures include construction of a new avenue, which will connect Fuzuli Street with Narimanov Avenue, and creation of greeneries along with this avenue.
Azeravtoyol OJSC told that in 2014, a part between Samad Vurgun Street and Fuzuli Square was constructed, Central Park was constructed along the avenue and broadening of surrounding roads was completed. Currently, it is planned to continue works on broadening of roads from Fuzuli Square to Narimanov Avenue and towards the Tazapir Mosque, as well as create greenery.

Measures on improvement of road infrastructure around the Fuzuli Square in Yasamal district are taken in accordance with the president’s order. Significant changes are planned in the organization of traffic movement. So, Fuzuli Square will be replaced by a new avenue stretching from Fuzuli Street to Narimanov Avenue.

Circle in front of the State Statistical Committee will also be changed. So, entry of the transport facilities moving on Inshaatchilar Avenue toward the Bakhikhanov street to the circle in front of the State Statistical Committee will be restricted. They will be directed to Narimanov Avenue.

The movement in Narimanov Avenue will be one-sided. Reverse movement will provided on Abdulla Shaig Street. These changes aim to eliminate the congestion.
