Azerbaijan, Dagestan agree to seek investors jointly
Azerbaijan and Russia’s Dagestan agreed to cooperate on development of foreign economic relations.
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments of Dagestan Republic of Russia and Azerbaijan Export and Investments Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) during the 7th Azerbaijani-Russian Interregional Forum in Baku.

The memorandum was signed by Bashir Magomedov, head of the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments of Dagestan Republic and AZPROMO President Rufat Mammadov.

The sides agreed to cooperate on the development of foreign economic relations, including the assistance in organizing and holding business forums, business meetings, and exchange of delegations in order to familiarize businesses with economic opportunities in both countries, said the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments, TASS agency reported Nov. 2.

Moreover, the two countries will contribute to the search for potential partners and attracting investments for their businesses.

In January-August 2016, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia exceeded $1 billion, according to Russia’s Economic Development Ministry.
