Muslim Magomayev commemorated in Uzbekistan

A commemorative event for outstanding Azerbaijani musician, people`s artist of Azerbaijan and USSR Muslim Magomayev has been held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

The event was co-organized by the Azerbaijani National Cultural Center and the Russian Cultural Center.

Participants in the event included employees of the Azerbaijani and Russian embassies to Uzbekistan, representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, and diaspora members.

Speaking at the event, director of Azerbaijani National Culture Center Mobil Mammadov highlighted the life and career of Muslim Magomayev.
