The diplomat made the remarks during her meeting with Ogtay Asadov, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (parliament), the parliament told on Nov. 3.
Bouchez noted that she will spare no effort to further strengthen the French-Azerbaijani relations.
Ogtay Asadov, in turn, emphasized that meetings and talks held between the presidents of Azerbaijan and France played an important role in the deepening of bilateral relations.
To date, about 50 documents have been signed between the two countries, according to the speaker.
The Azerbaijani parliament attaches great importance to enhancing relations with the French parliament, Asadov said adding that the Azerbaijan-France working group on inter-parliamentary relations is headed by Azerbaijan’s first lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
