MPs arrested for refusing to be interrogated - Turkish ambassador
It’s nothing new of Turkish MPs to have been arrested, and MPs of all parties are now deprived of immunity, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral told reporters in Baku Nov. 7.
He noted that no MPs had so far refused to be interrogated.

“The reason these MPs were arrested is because they refuse to be interrogated. Everyone bears responsibility before law. Punishment must be applied against any crime committed,” said the diplomat.

Ozoral added that TurkPA’s secretariat will move to a new office in December, noting that the Turkish parliamentary speaker is expected to pay a visit to Azerbaijani for this purpose.
