US State Department official on official visit to Azerbaijan

US State Department official on official visit to Azerbaijan

Mrs. Lillian deValcourt-Ayala, Deputy Director of the Office of Public Diplomacy in the State Department’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, is paying a visit to Azerbaijan, AzVision reported.

The visit began on Nov.7 and will last for three days. Mrs. Lillian deValcourt-Ayala will pay a visit to the US Embassy in Azerbaijan and will learn of the situation of media in Azerbaijan.

The US official has met Azerbaijani media representatives today and will meet university students tomorrow.

After Azerbaijan, she will make a visit to Georgia and Armenia as well.
