Baku hosts working meeting of Azerbaijani, Georgian military medical professionals
A working meeting of military medical professionals from Azerbaijan and Georgia kicked off in Baku Nov. 9, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry reported on Nov. 10.
The meeting, organized in accordance with the plan of bilateral cooperation between the defense ministries of Azerbaijan and Georgia, will last until November 11.

Within the framework of the event, Major General Natig Aliyev, chief of the Main Medical Department of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, had a meeting with Colonel Medea Betashvili, chief of the Medical Department of Georgia’s Defense Ministry, and Major David Chabadze, commander of medical battalion.

The sides discussed issues related to the preparation of the plan of joint activities of military medical services.

The guests visited the Main Clinical Hospital of the Armed Forces, where they got acquainted with the conditions created in departments, as well as the treatment centers, equipped with modern medical equipment. In addition, they also visited the Military Medical Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical University.
