Magnitude 6.2 quake strikes off Japanese coast
A powerful 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of the Japanese island of Honshu on Saturday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
According to the USGS, the quake struck around 15 miles east-northeast from the city of Ishinomaki.

Local media reports claimed that there was no tsunami risk because of the quake.
