President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has viewed conditions created at a newly built residential settlement for IDPs in Horadiz, Fuzuli District.
Azerbaijani deputy prime minister, chair of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov informed the president that the settlement occupies a total area of 417 hectares. It includes apartments, a school, a kindergarten, an administrative building, a medical center, a community center, and a post office.
IDPs from 16 settlements and the last remaining settlement in Fuzuli district will be settled here.
The head of state visited an IDP’s house.
The president was informed that the settlement features 400 apartments, including 20 one-room, 200 two-room, 168 three-room and 12 four-room apartments.
The head of state viewed a 120-seat kindergarten.
President Ilham Aliyev then viewed a 320-seat school. The head of state spoke to cadets of military schools and watched performance of young sportsmen here.
This is the 95th residential settlement built for IDPs and refugees in the country.
President Ilham Aliyev then met with representatives of Fuzuli district general public and IDPs.
IDP Elnara Mammadova and Head of the District Elders Council Majnun Namazaliyev thanked the president for his care and attention.

President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the building and viewed conditions created here.
The two-storey building occupies a total area of 324 square metres. A photo stand has been installed here reflecting the visits of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to Fuzuli district.
There is an exhibition hall in the gallery.
Twenty-five people will be employed here.

President Ilham Aliyev attends opening of carpet factory in Fuzuli
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the first branch of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC in Fuzuli.
Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev informed President Ilham Aliyev that at the initial stage the branches of Azerkhalcha are also expected to open in Agdam, Tovuz, Aghstafa, Qazakh, Shamkir, Quba, Ismayilli, Khachmaz districts. The construction of the branches in these districts has been already begun.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azerkhalcha Vidadi Muradov informed the head of state about the work done here. He noted that the branch in Horadiz would represent the Karabakh carpet-making school, which is one of the historic centers of Azerbaijan`s carpet-making industry.
The branch occupies a total area of 585 square metres. It will employ 150 carpet weavers and 10 administrative workers.
There are a carpet weaving workshop, warehouse, cafeteria, and a medical room here.
The head of state had a conversation with employees of the factory and watched the working process.

President gets familiarized with operational condition on frontline
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has got familiarized with the condition created in the newly-constructed bus station complex in Horadiz city, Fuzuli.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the bus station.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the bus station occupies a total area of a 0.5 hectare, while the construction area of state-of-the-art building is 450 square metres.
There are photo stands in the building reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s visits to Fuzuli district.
The complex features six platforms, a 30-seat waiting hall, public catering facilities, a medical center, and a mother and child`s room.
The complex will employ 25 people.
President Ilham Aliyev enjoyed a panoramic view of the city of Horadiz from the balcony of the bus station.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Fuzuli district for a visit Nov. 12.
The head of state first laid flowers at a statue of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city of Horadiz.
Head of Fuzuli District Executive Authority Ali Aliyev informed President Ilham Aliyev about the landscaping work carried out around the statue.
The head of state was also informed about the work and projects carried out in the district in recent years, as well as the facilities to be built in the coming years.
