WB ready to provide technical aid to Azerbaijan
The World Bank (WB) is ready to provide technical assistance to support the strengthening of macroeconomic stability in Azerbaijan, said the WB’s leading expert Naoko Kojo.
Kojo made the remarks during his meeting with Rufat Aslanli, chairman of Board of Directors at Azerbaijan’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority.

The sides discussed the current macroeconomic state of Azerbaijan, prospects of its development, improvement of legislation, the progress of economic reforms, including reforms conducted to strengthen the macroeconomic stability of the country, said the Supervisory Authority Nov. 12.

Azerbaijan joined the WB in 1992. The bank has allocated more than $1.85 billion for implementation of various projects since the beginning of its cooperation with Azerbaijan.
