US republicans displaying more understanding position as to Karabakh problem
"It is no secret that US republicans are displaying a relatively more understanding position in regard to the Nagorno-Karabakh problem,” Novruz Mammadov, deputy head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration and head of the foreign relations department, said in a statement to AzVision.az.
He said republicans are dominant both in the Senate and in the House of Representatives after the election.

“Sticking to human rights and issues of democracy, democrats support Armenians everywhere and come under pressure from Armenian diaspora. But some prominent pro-Armenian figures in the Senate and the House of Representatives are left out. This is important. We usually come to understanding with republicans. We have more than six months to do our work silently. It’s hard to find a second post-Soviet country which has been able to build balanced relations with all sides for the past 25 years. This policy was founded by great politican Heydar Aliyev and is being pursued by President Ilham Aliyev,” said Mammadov.
