"Rumen Radev gains 58.1 percent of votes, Tsetska Tsacheva — 35.3 percent of votes," the exit poll by Alpha Research said, as announced by Nova TV broadcaster.
It is reported that 6.6 percent voted against all candidates.
Bulgaria`s legislation implies that the candidate for presidency should gain over 50 percent of votes, if over a half of the voters turn out to vote. In case none of the candidates gain the necessary amount of votes, the second round of elections will be held in seven days.
