US State Secretary Kerry to attend 22nd UN climate change conference
US State Secretary will visit Morocco on November 15-16 to participate in the UN 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP22)..
US State Secretary John Kerry will travel on November 15-16 to Morocco to participate in the 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP22) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

"While at COP22, Secretary Kerry will deliver a speech that highlights the urgency of addressing climate change and the importance of continued ambitious climate action around the world," the US State Department said in a statement. Following the trip to Morocco, Kerry will travel to Peru to lead the Department of State delegation to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministerial Meeting on November 16.

"The Secretary will discuss with officials from other member economies APEC’s work to expand trade and investment, promote small and medium enterprise participation in the global economy, foster regional food systems, and invest in human capital development," the statement read. Kerry is currently on an international trip taking place on November 10-18, seeing him visit Antarctica, New Zealand, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and Peru.
