Speaking about economic reforms and favourable investment environment in Azerbaijan, Mammadyarov said Portuguese companies may benefit from these opportunities. He also gave information about eth large-scale projects, including East-West transport corridor, TANAP and TAP. The minister noted that the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) will play an important role in ensuring of energy security of Europe.
The sides also discussed development of cooperation in non-oil sector, as well as tourism, agriculture, food and light industries and IT.
Mammadyarov has invited Paulo Alexandre Ferreira to Azerbaijan.
After meeting, the sides viewed exhibition on technical achievements in the Ministry of Economy of Portugal.
