The United States and Azerbaijan are efficiently cooperating in the areas of energy, security, and counter-terrorism, US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta told a conference in the University of Houston dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s state independence, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan told AzVision.az.
The diplomat reminded that the US is one of the countries that were first to recognize Azerbaijan’s state independence and has always been by Azerbaijan since then. Robert Cekuta also said Azerbaijan is a key partner of the US and NATO, speaking of Azerbaijan’s contributions to global energy security and its exceptional role in reviving the modern Silk Road.
