Russia’s creation of joint group of forces with Armenia – not understandable - Bryza
Russia’s creation of a joint group of forces with Armenia is not understandable, Matthew Bryza, former co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group and former US ambassador to Azerbaijan, told reporters in Baku Nov. 18.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin had approved the agreement on the establishment of a joint group of Russian and Armenian forces.

“If Putin wants to prove that Russia is a mayor player in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, he should not take such steps,” Bryza said, urging both parties to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict – Azerbaijan and Armenia – to return to the negotiating table and begin discussions.
