Sargsyan’s statement indicates Armenia`s refusal to negotiate - Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan won’t allow the establishment of the second Armenian state in its territories, Vice-speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar Muradova told reporters.
Asked about recent statement of the Armenian president, she said that Azerbaijan’s position on this issue is clear. “Azerbaijan will never agree with the loss of even inch of its land. Serzh Sargsyan`s message could be a sweet dream. The world won’t allow separation of any territories from Azerbaijan, their annexation to Armenia or becoming independent. Azerbaijan is struggling and negotiating with Armenia under these principles. If Sargsyan is making such statements, he should declare that it refuses the negotiations. The negotiations are being conducted within territorial integrity, inviolability of borders. Sargsyan’s statements run contrary to the essence of negotiations. Taking into account the upcoming meeting of foreign ministers and the fact that they will prepare for next meeting of the presidents, Sargsyan’s statement indicated that he rejected this meeting beforehand,” she said.

Sargsyan said in an interview with Russia’s Sputnik agency that he wants to see Nagorno Karabakh as independent or annexed to Armenia.
