Texas police reportedly arrest suspect in San Antonio cop killing
San Antonio police in the US state of Texas have arrested a suspect in the shooting and killing of Detective Benjamin Marconi in an ambush style attack during a traffic stop, local media reported.
Police apprehended on Monday evening Otis McKane, believed to be the man caught on dash camera of the officer`s car in East Bexar County, Texas news channel KSAT said.

Marconi, 50, was shot and killed Sunday morning in an ambush from a car that had pulled alongside him as he was conducting a traffic stop near the police headquarters building.

Following the incident, San Antonio police and Texas Governor Gregg Abbott asked public help in identifying and locating the crime suspect and offered a $25,000 reward for the information. Marconi’s death was followed later Sunday by shooting incidents in which three police officers on duty in other parts of the United States — St. Louis, Missouri, Florida’s Sanibel Island, and Gladstone, Missouri — were wounded.
