President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received US Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Bridget Brink on Nov. 22.
President Ilham Aliyev reminded broad discussions he held with Mrs. Brink on bilateral relations and regional issues this summer and expressed hope for further continuation of Azerbaijan’s successful cooperation with the new US administration.
Brink, in turn, underlined the strong support from the US to Azerbaijan and the whole region, and said her country has for a long time pursued a consistent policy in this direction.
Moreover, the sides had an extensive exchange of views on the current state and prospects of the relations between Azerbaijan and the US, and ways of solution to the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
