He stressed that the Swedish and Azerbaijani companies are actively cooperating.
Danestad added that the export of Azerbaijani energy resources – oil and gas – is a very important issue.
He added that however, there are also many other promising areas of economy in Azerbaijan.
In particular, Danestad said Azerbaijan has very high-quality agriculture products and the area has great potential.
He also said the fall in oil prices opens up opportunities for Azerbaijan to develop non-oil sectors of the economy and make the economy more efficient, which will help attract even more investors.
Danestad added that Azerbaijan has abundant resources and huge human potential.
