Informing about the negotiation process on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Mammadyarov noted the unacceptability of any attempt to change the internationally recognized borders of states by use of force.
Expressing satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan, Ian Liddell-Grainger highly appreciated the successful cooperation of Azerbaijan with the Council of Europe.
Noting that during the visit they also held meetings and had fruitful discussions in the Azerbaijani parliament, Liddell-Grainger also underlined the active role of the delegation of Azerbaijan at PACE.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged their views on other issues of mutual interest.
