IFC offers Azerbaijan to set up debt counseling centers
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) offers Azerbaijan to establish debt counseling centers, Aliya Azimova, head of the IFC Baku Office, said.
Azimova made the remarks at the first annual meeting of the financial literacy trainers in Baku November 23.

She added that IFC has great experience in establishing such centers.

“There is a potential for establishing such centers in Azerbaijan,” she said. “Such centers can play a great role in prevention of huge debts.”

Azerbaijan cooperates with the IFC since 1995. The corporation’s portfolio for Azerbaijan exceeds $400 million and these funds were allocated for implementation of more than 70 projects.
