Pakistan says ready to fully equip Azerbaijani army
Pakistan stands ready to fully equip the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, said the country’s President Mamnoon Hussain.

The president made the remarks during a meeting with an Azerbaijani delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister Yaqub Eyyubov, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan told on Nov. 24.

The delegation is on a visit to Karachi, Pakistan to attend the International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2016).

Mamnoon Hussain said that Pakistan has always supported and will continue supporting Azerbaijan on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The president noted that Pakistan does not recognize Armenia as a state as the latter occupied Azerbaijani lands.

Deputy PM Eyyubov, in turn, said that Azerbaijan and Pakistan support each other on international issues.

He emphasized that Azerbaijan always stands by Pakistan on the Kashmir problem and favors an early solution to this conflict.
