Cambodia invites Azerbaijan business to invest in tourism field
Cambodia is ready to create favorable business conditions for Azerbaijani companies, which intend to operate in the country’s tourism sector, said Cambodian Tourism Minister Thong Khon at the meeting with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Cambodia (with residence in Vietnam) Anar Imanov.
Meanwhile, Imanov said that prospects of the two countries’ cooperation in the tourism sphere, in particular, in adjustment of mutual tourism flows, as well as attracting Azerbaijani investors in Cambodia’s tourism sector were discussed between the two sides as well.

Minister Thong Khon expressed his will to visit Azerbaijan in 2017 to discuss in detail the issues of cooperation and creation of contractual and legal base between the two countries. In particular, this is about the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the tourism sphere.

Noting the importance of Cambodian prime minister’s visit to Azerbaijan in April 2014, Anar Imanov noted that the visit contributed to the development of the two countries’ cooperation in various spheres, including in the tourism area.

Moreover, noting the existence of favorable base for the two countries’ cooperation in the tourism sphere, the ambassador expressed readiness of the Azerbaijani side to share its experience and opportunities in this field with Cambodia.
