Belarus president arrives in Azerbaijan for official visit
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has embarked on an official visit to Azerbaijan.
The president was welcomed by Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov and Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Alexander Lukashenko is set to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for face-to-face talks and expanded-participation negotiations. The two leaders are expected to discuss the state and prospects of advancing Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations, including trade and economic cooperation, work on joint cooperation projects, interaction in the area of investments, agribusiness, and sport. A number of international documents will be signed after the talks.

The Belarusian head of state is also expected to meet with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade.
