But Belarus is a member of several organizations where Azerbaijan is not involved, and we are member of some organizations, where Belarus is not involved, but we know that if there will be attempts of unfounded attack on our countries within these structures, we will always express a principled stand. This is very valuable, I think that those who attend know what I mean, and we appreciate this level of cooperation.”

We today discussed in detail issues related to the cooperation in the agricultural sector, and I am happy that soon Belarusian specialists will implement a major project in the field of agriculture, where Belarus has a very good experience. President Ilham Aliyev said that they decided to establish trading houses of Azerbaijan and Belarus in both countries: “A relatively new area of ​​our cooperation is the cooperation in the energy sector. Also, the question was raised by me that we need to start consultations in the field of transport cooperation, because, as you know, we are implementing major projects in the region by creating new transport corridors, and the geographical position of Azerbaijan and Belarus suggests that we should actively cooperate in this direction, using capabilities and relations with different countries, to increase the volume of traffic through the territory of our countries. I am sure this visit will serve to strengthen our cooperation and friendly relations.”
