Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic will sign a memorandum on mutual understanding in the energy sector in January 2017, the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry said in a message November 29.
According to the message, the signing of the document was discussed at the meeting between Natig Abbasov, Azerbaijani deputy energy minister, and the Czech delegation, consisting of Martin Pospisil, director of the department of foreign economic policy of the Czech Republic’s Industry and Trade Ministry, Olga Kalinova, secretary of the Azerbaijan-Czech joint commission on economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation and Vitezslav Pivonka, Czech ambassador to Azerbaijan.
