Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina enjoy high level political relations
Political relations between Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina stand at a high level, said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyaorv.
He made the remarks during a briefing following the negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak.

Mammadyarov said he discussed with his counterpart from Bosnia and Herzegovina the further development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina is interested in energy projects. We have also discussed this issue,” said the FM.

The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will be commissioned by the end of this year or early next year, Mammadyarov said, noting that this project will open up opportunities to Bosnia and Herzegovina as well.

“We decided in a short time after the visit to prepare several agreements to strengthen the legal framework,” the FM said.

Mammadyarov said he also informed his counterpart Crnadak about the settlement process of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“I informed him about Azerbaijan’s stance on the conflict and thanked him for the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina support Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity,” he added.
