Cavusoglu, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, made the remarks at a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Dec. 3.
The Turkish FM expressed gratitude to the president and people of Azerbaijan for the support during a hard time for Turkey.
“True brotherhood can be seen in the hard days. We will never forget Azerbaijan’s support. FETO again showed its true face. We welcome Azerbaijan’s anti-FETO steps,” added Cavusoglu.
The Turkish FM also referred to the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP).
He stressed that the TANAP project is paramount for both Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Turkey welcomes the steps taken by Azerbaijan against the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), the mastermind of the July 15 coup attempt, said Turkey’s Foreign Ministry Mevlut Cavusoglu.
