Pakistan invites Azerbaijan to mull business opportunities
Pakistan offered Azerbaijan to hold a conference on business opportunities between the two countries, said Khurram Dastgir Khan, Pakistan`s Federal Minister for Commerce.
He made the remarks at the Azerbaijani-Pakistani business meeting in Baku Dec. 5.

“We would like to invite Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev and the Azerbaijani business delegation to Islamabad. We will be pleased to arrange a conference to present business opportunities of the two countries,” the minister said.

He added that during the conference Azerbaijani and Pakistani experts and business circles would meet and review the countries’ business potential.

“We want to know the areas most interesting for Azerbaijan,” Dastgir Khan said.

According to the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Pakistan amounted to $5.82 million in January-October 2016, which is 3.6 times more than in the same period of 2015.
