Possible cause of Oakland warehouse fire identified
Authorities in Oakland, California said that a refrigerator could possibly cause a warehouse blaze that left 36 people dead, local media reported.
According to San Francisco television station KCRA, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) official Jill Snyder does not rule out the version of a refrigerator being a source of the ignition. Yet, ATF does not have enough evidence to make a final judgment as they continue an investigation, the report said.

Recovery crews are still searching the remaining 15 percent of the building where the fire broke out on Friday night, the report added. On Monday, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf has said investigators at the site will determine if a criminal case should be pursued in connection with the fire.
