Magnitude 5.4 quake shakes Western Argentina
A 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit not far from Argentina’s western city of San Juan, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center said Monday.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which struck at a depth of 40 kilometers (25 miles), lies 31 kilometers south of San Juan, according to the center. The tremors were recorded at 02:57 GMT.

There have been no reports on casualties and damages so far.
